Membership Details

As a member of TJK, we store your membership forms and term forms for the duration you are a member of TJK and up to 1 year after you leave. These details are kept in paper format in a safe location only accessible by the directors of TJK.  We use this data to:

• Keep track of our members
• Keep members data up to date and correct
• To verify membership and payments
• For insurance purposes
• In case of emergencies when emergency contact information is required
• To keep relevant TJK staff aware of any medical issues that may affect a student’s risk of training

This data is not converted into electronic format.

We may pass on your personal information if we have a legal obligation to do so.

We may pass on your disclosed medical information to paramedics or health care services if deemed necessary for your safety in an emergency.

Photos and photography

You have signed a data/photograph form which we hold on record. We are aware that of the students who do not want to be photographed. At large events, this is sometimes difficult to carry out, and as such, we ask that any person or parent that doesn’t wish to have their or their child’s picture taken or filmed to make TJK staff aware immediately.
